This policy explains, in plain language, what information Apex Rentals collects when you use our website or rent a car from us, and what we do with it. We're based in Amsterdam and we follow the GDPR.
What we collect
When you make a booking we collect your name, contact details, driving licence information and payment details. When you browse the site we collect basic analytics like which pages you visited, so we can make the site better. We only ask for what we genuinely need.
How we use it
We use your information to set up and manage your rental, to keep you updated about your booking, to meet our legal obligations as a rental company, and to improve our service. We don't sell your data to anyone — ever.
Who we share it with
We only share information where we have to: with our payment provider to process payments, with the authorities if legally required, and with our insurance partner in the event of a claim. That's the whole list.
How long we keep it
We hold onto booking records for as long as the law requires us to (generally seven years for financial records) and then we delete them. Analytics data is kept in aggregate and anonymised form.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we're not legally required to keep it. Just email us and we'll sort it out, usually within a few days.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to keep the site working and to understand how it's used. You can turn these off in your browser settings at any time, though some parts of the booking flow may not work as smoothly.
