Age & licence requirements
A quick rundown of who can rent, what licence you need, and the small print for younger drivers.
The basics
To rent any car with us you'll need to be at least 21 years old and have held a full driving licence for at least 12 months. Bring the physical licence with you — a photo on your phone won't cut it, sadly.
21–24 years
You're good to go on most of our cars. A small young-driver fee of €9/day applies, and a few of the bigger or premium cars aren't available just yet.
25–70 years
The sweet spot — every car in the fleet is open to you, with no extra age fees of any kind.
70+ years
Still very welcome. We may ask for a quick declaration of fitness to drive for longer rentals, but there's no extra charge.
Licences from outside the EU
If your licence was issued outside the EU or EEA, please bring your passport as well. If the licence isn't in the Latin alphabet, you'll also need an International Driving Permit alongside it. If you're unsure whether yours works, send us a photo before you travel and we'll check it for you.
A note on the small stuff
The driver named on the booking has to be present at pick-up with their own card and licence. Want a friend or partner to share the driving? Just add them as a second driver — they'll need their licence too, and it's free to add.
